Welcome to the F1 SuperGrid and SuperRace for 1996.

To those of you who have not seen the SuperGrid and SuperRace before, the idea is to average out each driver's efforts during the season, using the times and positions that he has attained.

All suggestions, corrections and so on, are gratefully received, but are not necessarily acted upon, subject to the compiler's whims.

The SuperGrid and SuperRace are based on the tables formerly presented by John Taylor in Autocourse.

SuperGrid

Once again Michael Schumacher won the pole for a 1996 GP, but he is still well behind Damon Hill for the 1996 SuperGrid.

For interest, included in the SuperGrid is a mark for 107% of pole time, along with the 107% "times".

This Super Grid is sorted on Total Time.

SuperRace

Hill's retirement from Monaco means that he loses his 100% finishing record for 1996 - but Schumacher's completion of only 278 laps so far this season clearly shows that completing laps isn't the only thing that counts.

Olivier Panis' first place has boosted him well up the SuperRace table, especially since the table is sorted on position.
