SUPERGRID 1997
An all-Williams front row for Spain means that the SuperGrid has an all-Williams front row also. This edition of the SuperGrid is sorted on the drivers' average position and then on their times - which is why the times and percentages may seem to be wrong.
While the best average time is used for calculating percentages in the SuperGrid, the actual average time for pole so far is 1m21.315, which makes the 107% mark 1m27.007.
With the changes at Sauber, Larini and Morbidelli join the "second division": drivers who have not competed in every race this season. Due to a number of requests, Rosset and Sospiri will be retained in the SuperGrid tables.

SUPERRACE 1997
World Champion one year ... the back-marker the next. We all know the story, so far, for Hill in 1997. This edition of the SuperRace may well serve the further deepen the depression about Hill's 1997 results - or lack thereof. A dismal season, indeed.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the table, Panis' consistency is paying off in many ways, however the SuperRace is sorted (here it is sorted on position).
Some really meaningless figures. To date, the ranks of the 1997 F1 drivers have completed a total of 6057 laps, and a distance of some 27,129 kilometres. So far as finishing a race is concerned, the Ferrari drivers are averaging 7.583 for their chassis and engine, while the Goodyear tyres average a 10.196 finishing position.
