Formula One driver Ralf Schumacher has followed up his first career win by announcing his engagement to girlfriend Cora Brinkmann.

The 25-year-old Williams driver, younger brother of Ferrari's world champion Michael, and his fiancee appeared in the paddock at the Spanish Grand Prix with each wearing a ring on their wedding fingers.

The team confirmed on Thursday that the German driver was engaged.

Ralf achieved his first Grand Prix victory two weeks ago at the San Marino Grand Prix.
