Former Formula One World Champion Jacques Villeneuve has broken up with fiancée Dannii Minogue after a relationship of 18 months, according to reports in the British Press.

BAR driver Villeneuve and 28-year old Minogue were rumoured to be about to get married some months ago, but according to the reports, the Australian wanted to concentrate on her acting career now.

"Yes, it's over," Minogue was quoted as saying. "I have moved to London for the really exciting opportunity of starring in Notre Dame de Paris."
