Todt Honoured in France

Monday January 8th, 2001

Ferrari's Sporting Director Jean Todt will have a street named after him in the town of Pierrefort in France, where he was born 54 years ago.

Pierrefort, a small town near Aurillac in central France with just over 1000 citizens, wanted to honour the Frenchman after the led the Ferrari team last season, finally achieving their first Formula One Drivers' Championship in 21 years.

The street, where Todt and his family lived, will be renamed Rue Jean Todt.
