After a lot of speculation about a possible move to Jaguar, Ferrari's chief mechanic Nigel Stepney is set to stay with the Italian team after accepting a significant pay rise from the Maranello's outfit bosses.
Stepney, who became popular last season after Michael Schumacher ran over him during a pitstop at the Spanish Grand Prix, had been linked with a move to Jaguar for some time, and now he is under consideration for Stefano Domenicali's job as Ferrari's team manager.
Meanwhile, former senior operations Engineer James Robinson is thought to have signed a deal with the BAR team in a senior engineering role.
Robinson, who left Williams last summer, had worked with BAR star Jacques Villeneuve when the Canadian drove for the Didcot-based team.
