Jaguar Label Lauda Move 'Pure Speculation'

Tuesday January 23rd, 2001

Jaguar Racing on Monday dismissed reports linking former world champion Niki Lauda with a role in the management of the team as "pure speculation".

Reports have suggested that Lauda has been offered the chance to join the Milton Keynes-based team in a management role but Jaguar officials have slammed the rumours.

Austrian Lauda resigned from his role as chairman of Lauda Air in November, 15 years after he founded the company, but is currently waiting on an offer to join the board of Austrian Airlines.
