Team boss Eddie Jordan has chosen to buy shares in Scottish Premiership champions Celtic rather than Manchester United.
Jordan opted for a £1 million stake in the Glasgow club despite rumours over the German Grand Prix weekend that he was interested buying into English champions Manchester United.
Celtic chairman Brian King said: "We are delighted with this overwhelming response from fans and investors.
"The board was confident that the imaginative and innovative security offered would prove attractive to investors. Eddie Jordan has demonstrated long-term commitment to Celtic."
