According to reports in the British press, former Formula One driver Mark Blundell could be about to land a testing deal with the Prost Grand Prix team this season.
The Prost team don't have a test driver after Spaniard Pedro de la Rosa, who tested for the French outfit last month, controversially signed a testing contract with the Jaguar team.
34-year old Blundell drove in Formula One from 1991 to 1995, making his debut with the Brabham team. The Briton left Grand Prix racing after driving for the McLaren-Mercedes team in 1995, and has spent the last five years in the CART championship, but was dropped by the PacWest team.
Blundell was already a test driver for the McLaren and Williams teams.
