Brazilian Grand Prix organisers have dismissed the speculation about this year's race being under threat following a legal row which has forced the Interlagos circuit work to be stopped.
A Brazilian judge ordered the work to be halted while the legal row was settled, and the required improvements were thought to be already behind schedule. FIA inspectors are to examine the track next week in order to make sure it's ready for this year's race and with the work being halted, it was thought that the Grand Prix might not take place.
However, according to the organisers, the improvements are expected to be completed before the race, which will be held on April 1.
Interlagos and the Brazilian Grand Prix organisers were under the spot light last year following an eventful qualifying session, where an advertising billboard fell onto the track, hitting Jean Alesi's car.
