Former triple world champion Niki Lauda has announced his decision to step down from his job as editor in chief of Bernie Ecclestone's new F1 Magazine.
The publication, which included an impressive array of journalists like Gerald Donaldson, Joe Saward, David Tremayne, Jane Nottage and Christopher Hilton, was released for the first time earlier this month.
Lauda admitted he leaves his post because he wants to concentrate on his role as chief executive of a division of Ford's Premier Automotive Group, owners of the Jaguar Racing team.
"I am stepping down as editor in chief from the May issue," Lauda said. "I cannot fulfil my roles for both Formula One Magazine and Jaguar.
"And frankly Jaguar needs me more."
