BAR driver Jacques Villeneuve confirmed yesterday his engagement to girlfriend Ellen Green, after the couple have been seeing each other for three months.

19 year old Green, whose friends call Ellie, is an apprentice balerina at the New York City Ballet. She met Villeneuve three months ago, shortly after the French-Canadian broke up with his previous fiancee, Dannii Minogue.

The newly engaged couple have not announced further details on the wedding date or where it will be held.
