A German magazine report has linked Jordan with a possible engine deal with Volkswagen - despite their current deal with Honda.

The Focus Money magazine said that Volkswagen chairman Bernd Pischetsrieder had already held talks with Jordan after Honda made it clear they would only supply one team with engines in the future.

Honda also supply British American Racing but it was thought that Jordan had jumped ahead of their rivals in a bid to secure an engine deal when they signed Japanese driver Takuma Sato to replace Jean Alesi in 2002.
