Williams driver Ralf Schumacher became a father on Tuesday, when his wife Cora Brinkmann gave birth to a baby boy in Salzburg, Austria.

26 year-old Schumacher, who got married less than 20 days ago in Austria, was delighted. "This is, without a doubt, the happiest day of my life."

The baby boy, who will be named David, weighed 2.6 kilos and is 50 centimeters tall, and according to the doctors, both him and 24-year old Brinkmann were fine. Ralf's brother Michael will be the baby's godfather.
