Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher will start the World Karting Championship race today from 16th, after the German finished Saturday's and Sunday's qualifying heats with 23 points.
The World Karting Championship qualifying is run in three heats, whereby each participant takes part in two of these. One point is awarded for every finish place from 2nd on (zero for first, 2 points for second, 3 for third, etc.), and the race grid is then set from least points to most.
Schumacher, who finished yesterday's qualifying heat in 8th and today's in 15th, has accumulated 23 points - good enough to place him 16th on the grid.
Karting World Championship leader, Italian Vitantonio Liuzzi, will start from first, having accumulated only 5 points. British promise Lewis Hamilton will start only from 19th place, after he finished a distant 26th in today's heat and accumulated 28 points from both days.
