Minardi to Support Young Argentine Drivers

Friday September 28th, 2001

European Minardi have agreed a deal with the Motor Club of Argentina which will aim to develop the career of young drivers.

The Faenza-based team, who have previously helped Argentineans Esteban Tuero and Gaston Mazzacane to graduate into Grand Prix racing, will make their facilities available to the Motor Club in order to speed up the development of young Argentine drivers.

The agreement, said the Italian team, is intended to facilitate the career advancement of young Argentine drivers by assisting them to enter more easily the top professional levels of motor racing, and ultimately, to graduate to Formula One.
