Ferrari drivers Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello are to star in a new Vodafone advert, it was revealed on Tuesday.

Schumacher and Barrichello have taken part in the advert for the telecommunications giant, who sponsor Ferrari to the tune of $45 million a-year.

In two separate adverts, Barrichello drives his Ferrari into the pitlane while his mobile plays a voice message saying, "Sorry I can't come to my phone right now, I'm at work".

Schumacher is composing a text message during his pitstop with the caption "for all those moments when you can't talk".

The advert, which is planned for television and billboards, is to be shown in 15 different countries including Great Britain, Germany, Australia and Italy.
