The Arrows Formula One team launched their new 'OrangeArrows Virtual Reality Experience' in London on Friday - giving fans a unique interactive experience in a Grand Prix car.
The new creation allows fans to see, feel, hear and drive the Arrows AX3 car around the famous Magny Cours circuit thanks to real film footage and digital technology.
State-of the-art interactive helmet equipment and 'intelligent' technology are used and the driver is then totally immersed in the environment of the real Magny Cours racing circuit as they sit in the AX3 cockpit.
The experience will be available to the public at the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona and is set to be at all the remaining Grands Prix circuits during 2002.
Denise Lewis, group director of corporate affairs at Orange, said "Delivering new and exciting technologies and services for its customers has always been a priority for Orange.
"Orange demonstrates its commitment to Formula One fans by enabling them to get into the driver's seat. This is a world first, enabling fans to get a new buzz out of Formula One."
