London's premiere concert venue, The Royal Albert Hall, will play host to stars from both the Formula One and pop music world for the 2002 Grand Prix Party, which will take place on February 12.
Taking part in the show will be some of Formula One's most famous faces, including three World Champions - Damon Hill, Niki Lauda and Jody Scheckter - along with the legendary commentator Murray Walker and his commentating partners Martin Brundle and James Allen.
The event will support FIA Medical Delegate Sid Watkins' charity, The Brain and Spine Foundation, which works to improve the quality of life for people with neurological disorders and reduce neurological disability through vital research, education and information.
For the second consecutive year, the event will also feature the presentation of the 'Bernie Awards', which will be awarded to some of Formula One's characters. World Champion Michael Schumacher, brother Ralf and teammate Juan Pablo Montoya are nominated for the Driver of the Year award, while Kimi Raikkonen and Minardi boss Paul Stoddart will fight for the Best Newcomer award.
Tickets are available from the 24-hour Grand Prix Party Hotline and the Royal Albert Hall Ticket line. Further information on the event can be found on the official website www.grandprixparty.com.
