German Veterans to Cover GPs Live for USA

Thursday January 31st, 2002

Inga Stracke in the pitlaneRace fans in the United States will be able to hear live radio broadcasts of all 17 Grand Prix races this year, with a team of veteran German reporters providing extensive coverage of the events.

The races will be broadcast by Germany's Pole Position Reports, which has been highly successful in developing F1 radio in Europe since 1995 and now will apply its experience to the US market.

The network is the exclusive US broadcaster for each of the 17 events, starting with the Australian Grand Prix on March 3rd. F1 radio journalists Justin Hynes, Inga Stracke and Sibylle Kloser will provide live coverage from each track. As well as providing play-by-play reporting, Pole Position Reports will present live interviews direct from the pits, plus in-depth features and profiles about the world of F1.

The US Formula One Radio Network has been created and developed by the Craig Company. That company acquired the rights for F1 radio. Information about Pole Position Reports can be found at http://www.ingastracke.com. Sponsors and advertisers also will be provided with advertising benefits on the network's upcoming website, at http://www.usf1radio.com.
