British auctioneers Bonhams will offer for sale ten Formula One cars from the extinct Tyrrell team at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed this month.
The ten Formula One machines from the historic British squad will be on sale on July 12th, and they will be offered together with another 400 lots of Formula One memorabilia.
The collection was acquired by Bonhams from the Tyrrell Racing Organisation back in 1998, and the British auctioneers said they want to pay tribute to the team and their founder Ken Tyrrell, who died last year.
The cars on sale will range from the 1978 008-1 to the 024-4 from the 1996 season. Tyrrell, who made their Formula One debut in 1970, disappeared in 1998 after 23 Grand Prix wins and one Constructors' Championships.
Included in the collection is the 1994 Lotus 109-01, which will also be offered for sale at the festival.
