Jaguar to Commemorate Queen's Jubilee

Tuesday June 4th, 2002

Jaguar to Commemorate Queen's Jubilee The Jaguar Racing team will commemorate The Queen's Golden Jubilee by displaying the official 'Golden Jubilee Emblem' on their R3 car during the Canadian Grand Prix weekend.

The British marque will first sport the emblem on the car in Friday's free practice at the Gilles Villeneuve circuit and Jaguar will retain it as part of their livery until the end of the season.

"Jaguar Racing and British motorsport should be very proud to celebrate Her Majesty's Golden Jubilee," said Jaguar's Jackie Stewart, who was knighted by the Queen last year.
