Duke of York to Appear at British Grand Prix

Thursday June 6th, 2002

Prince Andrew, The Duke of York, will appear as a guest of the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone in July in his position as Special Representative for International Trade and Investment.

His Royal Highness is expected to meet with executives from several of the major players in Formula One including Renault, Honda and BMW as well as the likes of Toyota and Minardi, who are potential investors in the United Kingdom.

The Duke of York will be among British MPs, Lords, Ministers and other high-ranking civil servants as guests of the MIA at the Northamptonshire circuit.
