The manager of sacked Arrows driver Jos Verstappen has denied the Dutchman is involved with the new Formula One team owned by a consortium connected with Arrows' chief Tom Walkinshaw.
Rumours had circulated that Verstappen would drive for the new outfit, which will be resurrected from the defunct Prost team's ashes. But his manager, Huub Rothengatter, denied any involvement and said: "We only just heard this morning. We honestly do not know anything about it and we have not been involved."
He refused to say whether Verstappen would be interested in the drive, but admitted the experienced racer remains keen to return to the Grand Prix grid as soon as possible. Verstappen is also waiting to hear whether he will get a test driver job with Sauber after recently having a seat fitting with the Swiss team.
