Frenchman Sebastien Bourdais is in contention for a drive with British American Racing in 2003, according to Autosport magazine.

Bourdais, 23, has impressed this season in Formula 3000 with Super Nova Racing and is reportedly in contention to replace compatriot Olivier Panis at the Brackley-based team next year.

Bourdais, who is in his third season in Formula 3000, is currently second in the standings after three events.
