Quadruple World Champion Michael Schumacher is continuing to rocket up the list of Europe's top earners and, according to reports, could soon be the richest German in the world.

Schumacher's personal fortune is estimated to be around £430 million, and is believed to have increased by £125 million since he won the world title for Ferrari in 2000.

According to Euro Business magazine, the 58-time Grand Prix winner is currently Germany's 72nd richest person and, astonishingly, he is reported to be the 337th most affluent person in Europe.

Reports in the British press claim 33-year old Schumacher earns £21 million from his Ferrari contract and another £65 million from sponsors, with the signage on his cap selling for £1.8 million.
