Ferrari Staff Gets in Shape

Friday November 22nd, 2002

Ferrari Staff Gets in ShapeWorld Champions Ferrari organised this week their traditional F1 Check-up, where every member of the race and test teams has the opportunity to get a full medical check as well as advice on a tailor-made training programme.

Ferrari's F1 Check-up began back in 1994 at the express wishes of the Italian's squad boss Jean Todt. Aided by the support of Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo, a more complex project known as Formula Benessere (Formula Well Being) began in 1999, the programme extending to all of Ferrari's employees, not only those working in the Gestione Sportiva.

The F1 Check-up includes a full internal and external examination, covering thirteen different areas and takes place in mobile clinics set up at the Fiorano track specifically for the programme.
