Jordan driver Takuma Sato switched to the wheel of a McLaren for a day when he drove the 1989 Honda-powered MP4/5 car from the Woking-based squad as part of Honda's 'Enjoy Honda 2002' celebrations.
Rookie Sato was allowed the rare privilege of getting behind the wheel of the Championship winning machine at the Motegi circuit in Japan, which held various events for a massive crowd that turned out to see the Formula One star.
Sato's first experience of the car, however, was a few weeks back at a seat fitting in anticipation of the event.
The car, winner of 10 Grands Prix in the 1989 season in the hands of Brazilian Ayrton Senna and Frenchman Alain Prost, belongs to Japanese engine supplier Honda and it's part of their museum.
