Davidson to Drive a Honda in Macau

Wednesday October 30th, 2002

Davidson to Drive a Honda in Macau British American Racing Honda test driver Anthony Davidson will switch to tin-top racing after signing to take part in this year's Macau touring car race.

"After spending so much time in a Formula One car it will be good to try something different. I am really pleased that Honda and JAS Motorsport have invited me to take part in this touring car race." he said.

"I usually drive a Honda Civic Type-R road car, which is a great car, so I am looking forward to driving the Touring Car."

Briton Davidson, 23, took part in two Grands Prix for Minardi this year but looks to have missed out on the chance to join the Formula One grid in 2003. Davidson will compete against former Formula One drivers Nicola Larini and Gabriele Tarquini as well as British Touring Car star Tim Harvey.
