Frenchman Patrick Tambay, the ex-Renault and Ferrari driver, was one winner as he drove an AC Cobra to a hard-fought and emotional victory along with Henri Pescarolo in the RAC TT Celebration.
Former Jaguar Racing team principal Bobby Rahal was victorious in the Glover Trophy as the American brought home his Cooper Climax in first position.
Briton Darren Manning, the BAR Formula One test driver who will drive for Team St. George in the Champ Car race at Rockingham on Saturday, won in style in the final race of the meeting, the Whitsun Trophy.
Emanuele Pirro, Johnny Herbert, David Coulthard and Sir Stirling Moss were among the names to attend the three-day meeting.
