MotoGP motor cycle champion Valentino Rossi has revealed that he has been offered a Formula One test by four teams - but has not had the chance to take up the offers yet.
The Italian romped to a fourth world title this year after dominating the season with Honda and has been offered one-off drives by Jordan, British American Racing, Jaguar and Williams.
The 23-year-old has not found the time to fit an F1 test into his hectic schedule but predicted that it will happen in the near future - and said it could prompt a career change.
"I'd very much like to test an F1 car," Rossi was quoted as saying in the Italian press. "Jordan, BAR, Jaguar and Williams have all offered me one, but so far there has never been time.
"Who knows if I could have a future there? Perhaps I'll try it and like it a lot. But I don't know if I'll enjoy a sport where you can only see a driver's head. You can't see where someone like Schumacher makes the difference. In motorbikes you know instantly."
Rossi will try his hand at rallying in November when he competes in the Rally of Great Britain, the final round of the World Rally Championship, in Cardiff in a Peugeot 206 WRC.
