Formula One driver David Coulthard will swap the track for water on Friday when he takes part in the Cowes Week sailing event.
Coulthard, who finished second at the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim last Sunday, has been invited to helm the brand new 'Hugo Boss' yacht in the penultimate day of the classic on the Isle of Wight.
The Scottish driver, who lives in the Mediterranean principality of Monte Carlo, will join record-breaking off-shore skipper Alex Thompson, 29, to navigate the yacht, named after one of McLaren's sponsors.
The 65-foot single hull yacht has been specially designed to the latest specifications and will also run in the Fastnet race, which begins on Sunday August 10.
