Ferrari technical director Ross Brawn has been given an honorary degree by l'Università Politecnica delle Marche in Ancona to award him for his achievements with the Italian Formula One team.
Briton Brawn was presented with the degree, in Mechanical Engineering, during a ceremony at Ancona and was praised for a seven-year stint at Ferrari that has seen them win five constructors' titles and four drivers' crowns.
"Above all the great Ferrari team deserves to be recognised," said Brawn. "Success comes around when passionate and motivated people dedicate their lives to Ferrari to attain it."
