Renault's managing director Flavio Briatore and supermodel Heidi Klum are expecting their first baby, it was announced today.

"Heidi Klum and Italian businessman Flavio Briatore are happy to announce they are expecting a child in the spring," a statement issued on behalf of the couple said.

53-year old Briatore, a former boyfriend of supermodel Naomi Campbell, has been dating with 30-year old Klum for the past year.
