Spanish GP to Allow Fans Access to PitsFormula One fans will have the unique opportunity of getting a closer look at Grand Prix cars during this year's Spanish Grand Prix.

The organisers of the Spanish race, to be held at the Circuit de Catalunya, announced today that anyone holding an all-weekend (three days) grandstand ticket will be allowed to visit the pitlane and the pit garages on Thursday May 1st during the morning and the afternoon.

The organisers said the initiative is a first in the Formula One World Championship, and will allow Formula One enthusiasts to get closer to the behind-the-scenes action.

The Spanish Grand Prix, the fifth round of the 2003 season, will take place on May 4.
