Britain's minister for sport Richard Caborn will be taken for the ride of his life by Minardi driver Justin Wilson on Friday as part of the build up to next weekend's British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

Caborn, who is in talks with Sir Jackie Stewart to provide government funding to the Silverstone circuit, will be a passenger in Minardi's two-seater at a special event in Hyde Park in London.

The event, the brainchild of organisers to begin the build-up to the Silverstone race, will see Wilson take Caborn around the park and then complete a pitstop against the clock.
