Tuesday July 15th, 2003

F1 Drivers Contribute to Charity AuctionSeveral Formula One drivers have made their contribution to the Great Ormond Street Hospital for an online Formula One charity auction.

At the start of the 2003 season, many of the current F1 drivers, including World Champion Michael Schumacher, his brother Ralf, McLaren's Kimi Raikkonen and former champion Jacques Villeneuve, signed the playing cards that will be auctioned during the following ten days.

The auction, which will be run online by eBay, will start today and will finish ten days later on Friday 25th. The auctioned items can be seen at Starcards.

The Great Ormond street Hospital Childrens Charity will be given a presence at the British Grand Prix next weekend.

Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone has personally donated a number of exclusive Pit & Paddock Passes to the charity to boost the fund raising.
