Briton Ralph Firman made his home Formula One debut at the weekend and can now look forward to the Big One.
Jordan said on Tuesday that the rookie will take a Formula One car - engine removed - on to the tracks of "The Big One" rollercoaster, Europe's tallest and fastest, at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in northwest England on Thursday.
A Jordan spokeswoman said the car was a genuine Jordan, although not one of this year's, fixed securely to the rollercoaster with 23 bolts.
She said team technical director Gary Anderson and rollercoaster engineers, who had been planning the official Jordan Grand Prix ride at the amusement park for the past six months, had approved the safety measures.
Firman, who got a taste for rollercoasters when he was racing in Japan, was looking forward to taking the plunge. The Briton finished 13th in Sunday's Grand Prix.
