Formula One team boss Eddie Jordan was presented with the second honorary doctorate of his career on Monday by the Dublin Institute of Technology.

The doctorate was handed to the Irish team boss for "his outstanding achievements in international sport and his wider contribution to Ireland."

Jordan was given his first honorary doctorate by the University of Ulster a year ago for his contribution to sports and to Ireland. James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan was also present at Monday's event to receive an honorary doctorate.
