Spanish driver Fernando Alonso will delight his home fans next Sunday with a demonstration run of his Renault Formula One car in downtown Madrid.
Alonso, who was the star of the Spanish Grand Prix last Sunday when he finished a close second to World Champion Michael Schumacher, will drive his Renault R23 on the Paseo de la Castellana, one of Madrid's main streets, on a day that will see several racing cars doing demonstration runs in Spain's capital.
The event, organised by Renault, will begin at noon local time, and the Spanish fans will be able to see other legendary cars like the Renault Nervasport ABM3, the Renault 4CV 1063 or the Alpine A 106 in action on the streets.
Apart from demonstration runs, the fans will also be able to enjoy a sports cars exhibition that will take place in Real Madrid's football stadium.
