Ralf to Drive on the Streets of Stuttgart

Thursday May 22nd, 2003

Ralf to Drive on the Streets of StuttgartWilliams-BMW driver Ralf Schumacher will drive his old FW24 car through the streets of Stuttgart on Saturday in an unusual preparation for next weekend's Monaco Grand Prix.

Schumacher, who has had a troubled season so far this year, will take part in an interview in the town's main square before shooting down the 800m-long Schlossplatz in his Formula One machine.

"It will be a good preparation for the narrow streets of Monte Carlo," joked Schumacher. "Seriously, it's nice to visit the fans in this way. There will certainly be many spectators who have never attended a Formula One race."
