McLaren drivers David Coulthard, Kimi Raikkonen, Alexander Wurz and Pedro de la Rosa will travel to Germany next Saturday for the traditional 'Stars and Cars' event, organised by the team's engine supplier Mercedes-Benz.

The end-of-season occasion, held in Stuttgart, will feature several events including demonstration runs of past and present racing cars, and a pitstop competition between the Formula One squad and the Mercedes-Benz DTM team.

The four McLaren men will be joined by DTM stars Bernd Schneider, Christijan Albers, Marcel Fassler and former Grand Prix winner Jean Alesi.

The event will also see the new Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren sports car, which was launched at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show, completing demonstration runs.
