Fisichella Switches to Touring CarsGiancarlo Fisichella will drive for Alfa Romeo in next weekend's European Touring Car Championship finale at Monza, Italy, following the completion of the Formula One season.

Italian Fisichella will compete in a one-race deal for Alfa Romeo to aid the team's lead driver Gabriele Tarquini as he attempts to clinch the title. Tarquini won the last two rounds and is tied for the championship lead with BMW rival Jorg Muller.

Alex Zanardi, who lost both his legs in an horrific crash in a CART race in Germany two years ago, will make make his return to racing with the aid of a specially built BMW with hand controls.
