McLaren-Mercedes gave Russian Andrey Chuykin a run in their Formula One machine last weekend - after the 25-year old Grand Prix fan won the drive in a two-day on-track racing competition.
Chuykin joined Scot David Coulthard and championship challenging Finn Kimi Raikkonen at Brno for the event - which saw him take their place in the McLaren machine and run three high-speed laps of the Czech circuit.
"I really enjoyed that," said Chuykin. "I took it very easy at first, as I wanted to get a feel for the car. Then I gradually speeded up on the next two laps. My head is spinning and I am very happy."
Chuykin - an internet cafe owner from Moscow - became only the second Russian driver to take to the track in a Formula One car after winning a shoot-out with German Volker Kren and Raikkonen presented him with a trophy after his run.
