Toyota have dismissed media speculation that they are considering switching from Michelin tyres to Bridgestone next year.

"Our contract with Michelin covers the year 2005 so obviously we deny all the rumours that we could change tyres for next year," said the Japanese Formula One team's boss Tsutomo Tomita.

Britain's Autosport magazine this week reported that big-spending Toyota were poised to make the switch and that champions Ferrari, Bridgestone's main team, had not objected.
