Friday March 26th, 2004

Wilson Lands Champ Car SeatBriton Justin Wilson, who lost his Formula One drive with Jaguar at the end of last season, will race in the US Champ Car series this year.

The Mi-Jack Conquest team said on Thursday that Wilson, who turned himself into a limited company and sold shares in himself to break into Formula One, had signed for them for the championship starting on April 18.

"It's something that I've been looking at really since 2001 when I won the Formula 3000 championship," said Wilson. "It's something I've always admired and wanted to be a part of at the right time and this is the right time."
