Juan Pablo Montoya and his wife Connie are expecting their first baby, the Williams driver confirmed.

Montoya told reporters last week that Connie is eight weeks pregnant. The Colombian said they are both happy and excited about the pregnancy, and that Connie is in good health.

Montoya met Connie Freydell while he was driving in ChampCar, five years ago. The couple got married in Colombia on October 26th 2002.

The couple's first child is due next spring.
