Michael Schumacher has tested the new F310b, which was presented at the Maranello (Italy) factory yesterday, on the Fiorano (Italy) track today. Schumacher covered 12 laps. This was the first day of an eight week test program to improve the new car.
A Ferrari spokesman commented: "Schumacher has driven 12 laps without a problem and he is very satisfied."
