Eddie Jordan would love to keep him but Fisichella has said he would be loyal to Briatore, who gave him his chance in Formula One. So it will very unlikely that Fisichella will stay with the Jordan team.
Irvine worked on the suspension and on the brakes of the Ferrari, he drove a best time of 1m 00.85s.
M. Schumacher completed a Grand Prix simulation today without any technical problems. His best time was a 1m 25.45s. Villeneuve was the quickest today with a time of 1m 23.95s.
Schumacher said: "I am satisfied with the outcome of these three days of testing. We did the right thing in staying one more day to have another go at the race distance. I am confident for the Belgian Grand Prix and now I am convinced we will have a good car at our disposal for Monza."
Trulli has really found the speed in his Prost-Mugen, after breaking M. Schumacher's test record yesterday he improved on it a great deal today. Yesterday he drove a 1m 25.12s, now he has done a 1m 23.41s. Herbert was second with a 1m 25.11s.
Alesi was the fastest man on the track today with a 1m 23.57s. It also seemed that the Arrows team is really making progress - on fast tracks - because Hill was third with a time of 1m 24.21s. Hakkinen, Verstappen and Zonta were testing 1998 spec cars. Jordan was very pleased with the performance of the Brazilian. Zonta will be fitted a new seat tomorrow because he suffered some back problems.
