Following a meeting this week between representatives of the FIA, teams and Bridgestone, testing for 1999 looks like being limited to just 50 days from January 1st. These will be split to 25 days during the season and 25 days out of season. Tyres are likely to be limited to 200 sets per car for testing, ie, 4 sets per day.

This year, teams tested about 85 days while Ferrari ran around 120 days of testing.
